Porcelain inlays and onlays are used to restore back teeth that require large fillings. An inlay is small and within the biting surface of the tooth. An onlay can cover a larger area of the tooth. They provide excellent cosmetic results, along with increased strength and durability. Inlays and onlays are bonded onto the remaining tooth structure.
