Garforth Town AFC has an exciting vision for the future to develop football across communities in the UK. Similarly, here at Genix Healthcare, we aim to make dentistry accessible and affordable to different communities. This is why we have chosen Garforth Town AFC for a long term partnership deal.
Garforth Town is the non-league club bought by Simon Clifford in 2003, with the aim to turn the Club into an elite academy for the best players coming up through the network of soccer schools that he founded.
Clifford founded his first Brazilian Soccer School in Leeds in 1996 and now 150,000 British children are involved across the length and breadth of the country.
Brazil legends Socrates and Careca have both made appearances for Garforth Town in previous seasons. The 2006/2007 sees a 10-part BBC2 documentary following the Club, along with events and appearances by Pele, Felipe Scolari, Romaria, Kazu and Carlos Alberto.
