Genix Healthcare young dentists up for national awards
26 November 2007
26 year old Dr Melbourne Carew (pictured above) at Genix Healthcare’s dental clinic in Middlesbrough and 30 year old Dr Aditya Singh at Genix Healthcare’s dental clinics in Tickhill, Doncaster and Kiveton Park, Sheffield is up for the prestigious Best Young Dentist of the Year Award in this year’s national Dentistry Awards 2007.
Melbourne receives glowing praise from patients and colleagues alike. Despite his youth he is often asked for advice by the other dentists and goes out of his way to help others, being a mentor for vocational trainees and part of a small team of dentists who provide after hours service in the Teesside area.
Patient Pamela Allen came to Melbourne following very bad experiences with previous dentists. Before starting treatment, Melbourne spent time discussing her fears, offering reassurance and fully explaining her treatment options. Pamela was extremely happy with the ensuing treatment, informing Melbourne that the treatment had changed her life, improved her confidence and restored her trust in dentists.
Aditya quickly won the trust and respect of patients and colleagues alike attracting glowing praise. Colleagues comment on his great team spirit, calming influence and gentle nature, while patients greatly appreciate his friendliness and caring approach.
Patients Pamela and Roger Newton say, “We were a little apprehensive at getting a new dentist. However, we were instantly put at ease with Aditya. He is really nice, helpful and thoughtful. He always ensures that you understand the procedure before, during and after. He is such a thorough dentist. Aditya is simply brilliant.”
Melbourne and Aditya will find out if they are the well deserving winner at the award ceremony on Friday 7th December 07. Congratulations and good luck Melbourne and Aditya!
