Is specialist treatment expensive?

Some specialist treatments can be performed on the NHS however others are classified as purely private treatments such as teeth whitening, implants etc. Your Genix Healthcare dentist will advise you on costs before treatment starts.

Genix Healthcare treatments and services are competitively priced and are also able to offer a number of flexible payment options from monthly payment plans to interest free loans.

How will I know if a need to see a specialist?

Your dentist will usually refer or recommend specialist services after a careful examination of your oral and dental health. However you do not have to wait for your dentist to make a referral, you can at your own request see a specialist.

Do I have to be a registered patient of Genix Healthcare to receive specialist treatment?

Patients do not have to be a registered with Genix Healthcare to receive any treatment. From 1st April 2006: In England and Wales there is no statutory NHS dental registration. You will no longer be registered with your dentist; you will be a named patient on the dentist's list. If you require a private consultation for tooth whitening etc the cost is £15.00.
