"The pain from my tooth became unbearable over the Christmas period. I called 111 to try to get an appointment with an NHS dentist. The 111 service said they would call me back asap, in fact they called me back with an appointment for the same day within 30 seconds, well done 111 service.

The dentist took a look & found I had an infection under the tooth, which was in a bad state anyway following the loss of the filling & the tooth had broken up. The Dentist took an x-ray, & called me back in to see for myself the situation on the viewing screen. The dentist explained the options I had but I chose to have an extraction. I was given antibiotics to kill the infection before the dentist could extract the offending tooth. The pain soon subsided & within a few days I was back in the chair & the tooth extracted.

I cannot speak highly enough of the dentist and their team, very professional, & courteous, and took the time to explain what was going on etc. I have had some previous dental disasters in my life, but these people are the best I have ever had. I'm sticking with the dentist and their team now for my dental work. Excellent practice, highly recommended."

Complaints Procedure

Genix Healthcare takes all complaints seriously. The first step is to raise the matter with the Practice Manager, either orally or in writing. You will be informed of the outcome of the investigation.

If you’re still unhappy with the outcome, you can refer the matter to the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman on 0345 015 4033, who is completely independent of the NHS and government.
